1929 Ford Model A Pickup at No Reserve

This 1929 Ford Model A pickup was purchased by the seller in 2021 and is powered by a 201ci L-head inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The truck is finished in beige with brown fenders and running boards over brown vinyl and is equipped with body-color 21″ wire wheels, dual side-mount spares, wood bedside stakes, and a windshield visor. Previously offered on BaT in May 2025, this Model A pickup is now offered again at no reserve with service records and Connecticut registration in the seller’s name.

The bodywork was refinished in beige under prior ownership, with the fenders, radiator surround, and running boards painted metallic brown. The truck features a wood-slat cargo bed, wood bedside stakes, dual side mirrors, yellow-lens driving lamps, turn signals, and a windshield visor. A low-mount central brake light has been added, and work in 2022 included adding LED headlights. The photos provided in the gallery were taken in early 2025, and the seller notes that no additional miles have accrued since.

Body-color 21″ wire wheels are mounted with Sears All-State Safety Tread tires that show sidewall cracking. Dual matching spares are housed under covers in the front fenders. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums.

The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in brown vinyl. The four-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and features a brodie knob. It sits ahead of a speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 600 miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. A battery access panel has been added in the floor.

The 201ci L-head inline-four was factory rated at 40 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. A fuel shut-off valve was installed in 2021, and the carburetor was rebuilt in 2022. The radiator hoses and spark plugs were also replaced in 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a sliding-gear three-speed manual transmission.

The vehicle is being sold on its Connecticut registration, which serves as an ownership document in Connecticut. The registration document lists a VIN of N29A783453, however, that sequence is not visible on the truck itself.
