21k-Mile 2002 Lexus SC430

This 2002 Lexus SC430 remained registered with the original owner in Oklahoma until 2026 and now has 21k miles. The car is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 linked to a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Black Onyx (202) over black leather. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, a rear spoiler, HID headlights, fog lights, 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, navigation, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Mark Levinson sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer. This SC430 is now offered in Massachusetts by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual and a clean Montana title.

The SC430 replaced the SC300/400 sport coupes and was only available as a convertible with a body-color power-retractable hardtop. This example is finished in Black Onyx (202) and features HID headlights, fog lights, a rear decklid spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A May 2018 entry in the Carfax report notes that the car sustained “minor damage” to the left front and rear. Paint meter readings are visible in the gallery below.

The 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tires. The car is equipped with traction control and four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors.

The cabin seating surfaces are upholstered in black leather, while wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front bucket seats, front-seat position memory settings, twin rear seats, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a nine-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer.

The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 21k miles.

The 4.3-liter 3UZ-FE V8 features dual overhead camshafts as well as VVT-i variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque when new. The most recent timing belt service was performed in May 2018 at ~21k miles, per the selling dealer.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.
