This 1971 BMW 2002 is a running project that was acquired by the seller in 2003. It is finished in tan over tan upholstery and is equipped with a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four, a four-speed manual transmission, a driver-side mirror, auxiliary lights, 14″ wheels, and an aftermarket carburetor. This BMW 2002 project is now offered at no reserve with a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Nevada (001) and has a driver-side mirror, pop-out rear windows, and auxiliary lights. There are areas of rust around the body, and various trim pieces are missing.

The 14″ wheels are mounted with Uniroyal tires. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The seller notes that the car pulls to the left under braking.

The seats are trimmed in tan vinyl. The upholstery and carpeting are worn, and the dash is cracked,

The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.0-liter M10 inline-four is linked to a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that the car will not idle. The engine and transmission are said to have been overhauled in the 1990s.
