Google’s June 2026 Pixel Drop is rolling out today across all supported Pixel phones, tablets, and watches, and it’s one of the bigger ones. Here’s what’s new.

Screen Reactions is the feature most people will actually use right away. It lets you record your screen and your face at the same time using the selfie camera. No separate app needed. Bubbles is also in this drop, letting you float any app in a compact window on top of whatever you’re doing. On Pixel folds, those bubbles live in a dedicated Bubble Bar at the bottom of the screen for quick access.

Gemini Omni is new too, and it’s the flashier addition. Type a text prompt and Gemini will generate a custom video for you. That one is for Gemini Pro subscribers only. For everyone else, there’s Lyria, which lets you create original music tracks using text prompts or images as inspiration. You can dial in the style, vocals, and tempo before sharing.

On the sharing side, Quick Share’s AirDrop compatibility is expanding to the Pixel 8a and Pixel 9a. Magic Cue is also expanding to more messaging apps in the coming weeks. You’ll see contextual suggestions pop up in more conversations.

Pixel Watch Gets Smarter Safety Features

The June 2026 Pixel Drop also brings a meaningful upgrade to Pixel Watch. Emergency Detection now ties car crash, fall, and loss of pulse detection into a single Emergency Sharing system. If any of those events are detected, your watch will call emergency services and notify your chosen contacts automatically. You can customize which contacts get alerted per detection type in settings. Car crash and fall detection cover Pixel Watch 2 and newer, while loss of pulse detection is limited to Pixel Watch 3 and 4.
