Wearable technology brand VITURE today unveiled Helix, a new AI-powered safety eyewear platform developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. According to the company, the device is the first wearable headset designed specifically for industrial, scientific, and clinical workflows, and is capable of streaming a wearer’s first-person perspective to a multimodal AI network in real time.
Built on NVIDIA’s XR AI solution, the Helix is a considerable shift from VITURE’s previous consumer-grade XR hardware into enterprise-grade AI systems. The frame can run without the need for a companion smartphone and features a fully transparent, industrial-grade design engineered to ANSI Z87.1-2025 standards. It also comes with a built-in 12MP first-person camera, a quad-microphone setup, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and up to 60 minutes of battery life between charges.

According to VITURE, the platform follows a year-long development period alongside NVIDIA, the Le Cong Lab at Stanford University, and the Mengdi Wang Lab at Princeton University. According to Q1 2026 data from the IDC Worldwide AR/VR Headset Tracker, VITURE currently ranks as the top-shipping brand for AR/XR display glasses in the U.S. and Europe, and sits second overall in total AR/VR headset shipments behind Meta.
NVIDIA will officially feature Helix at AWE 2026, alongside live product demonstrations hosted in the NVIDIA/Dell meeting facilities. Individual reservations for the initial production batch are now open on the company’s website, with pricing starting at $600. Meanwhile, commercial pilot allocations are available on an invite-only basis, and VITURE expects to begin shipping the hardware in Q1 2027.
