This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was first delivered to Curtis Chevrolet of Washington, D.C., and it is powered by a 327ci L79 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a tan convertible soft top, a Positraction differential, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, retractable headlights, and a telescopic steering column that was added under prior ownership. The car received Bloomington Gold certification in 1981, and it is said to have been owned by an NCRS master judge for more than 25 years. The car was acquired by the current owner’s dealership in 2022, and ownership was transferred to the current owner in 2025. It was previously offered on BaT in July 2025, and work since the previous listing consisted of installing a rear-exit dual exhaust system and 15″ Rally wheels with white-stripe tires. The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Marlboro Maroon (988) and was refinished in the late 1970s. Imperfections and checking are noted. Features include a removable hardtop, a tan convertible soft top, a domed hood, retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and polished exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Michelin white-stripe tires that were installed under current ownership. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Saddle vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
