This Porsche 356 Speedster replica was first purchased as a Fiberfab kit in 1986, and the car features black-finished fiberglass bodywork mounted over a shortened Volkswagen Beetle frame. Power is supplied by a Porsche-sourced 1,600cc flat-four that is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and linked to a four-speed manual transaxle. The car rides on 15″ wheels and has a CB Performance Products front disc brake setup, KYB shocks, independent rear suspension, and front and rear anti-sway bars in addition to a rear luggage rack, a black soft top, and teardrop-style taillights. Bucket seats are trimmed in black with tartan inserts, and the cockpit also houses a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a wood shift knob, and VDO instrumentation. The current owner acquired the car in 2024, and the tires were replaced in preparation for the sale. The 356 Speedster replica is now offered in California by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Florida title in the name of the seller’s LLC that describes the car as a 1971 Porsche.

Finished in black, the fiberglass bodywork is fitted over a shortened Volkswagen Beetle frame. A black soft top is installed, and other details include auxiliary lights, a rear luggage rack, teardrop-style taillights, twin exhaust outlets, and gold badging. The seller notes that the chassis has been reinforced along with the nose, rear end, and doors. Chips and scratches around the car are reported.

Suspension incorporates front and rear anti-sway bars, an independent rear setup, and KYB shocks. CB Performance Products front disc brakes are complemented by rear drums. The 15″ wheels were mounted with Nexen tires in preparation for the sale.

The Speedster-style bucket seats were trimmed in black vinyl with tartan-style inserts in 2024, and a wood knob tops the shifter.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The Porsche-sourced 1,600cc flat-four is equipped with dual Weber IDF 40 carburetors, an HEI distributor, an external oil cooler, and a spin-on oil filter. The seller reports that the valve guides have been replaced and that Teflon valve seals and moly rings have been installed. A BlazeCut fire suppression system is also fitted. The fuel pump was rebuilt in 2025.
