LS3-Powered 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible

This 1961 Cadillac Series 62 convertible was the subject of a build by Findlay Customs in Las Vegas, Nevada, that was completed in 2019 and totaled approximately $97k. Work involved installing a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 and a 4L65 automatic transmission as well as an adjustable air suspension setup and 22×9″ wheels. The triple-white car has a soft top, chrome bumpers, front disc brakes, and a custom 1,000-watt audio system with a retro-look head unit. Acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2025, this Series 62 is now offered in California with a top boot, car cover, records, and a clean Arizona title.

The white finish is complemented by chrome bumpers, window surrounds, and trim. The motor for the power-operated white soft top was replaced under prior ownership. The seller notes that a top boot and a car cover are included in the sale.

The car rides on AccuAir e-Level adjustable air suspension and custom billet 22×9″ wheels. Front disc brakes are also fitted.

The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in white leather, and the front bench is power adjustable. A 1,000-watt audio system is linked to a retro-look radio in the dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles and does not work. The seller recommends installing a replacement odometer/speedometer cable or GPS needs odometer/speedo cable or a GPS speed box, and estimates having driven between 200-300 miles since purchasing the car.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8, wiring harness, and aluminum radiator were all installed in 2019.

The engine was paired with a 4L65 automatic transmission during the build, and the gas tank, fuel lines, driveshaft, exhaust, and accessory drive system were also replaced.
