This 2024 Bugatti Baby II Vitesse is #238 of a planned run of 500 ¾-scale hand-built reinterpretations of the Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix produced by The Little Car Company in Bicester, England, under license from Bugatti. The car features carbon-fiber bodywork finished in Nocturne Black over a tubular steel chassis, and power comes from a 10-kW electric motor mated to a direct-drive transmission with three speed modes and reverse. Equipment includes a regenerative braking system, a hollow front axle, friction disc shock absorbers, 16″ alloy wheels, headlights, an adjustable pedal box, a wood-rimmed four-spoke steering wheel, an engine-turned aluminum dash, and black leather upholstery. The Bugatti Baby II was developed by The Little Car Company and Bugatti in 2019 following the success of the automaker’s 500 Bugatti Baby models built to celebrate its 110th anniversary. Vitesse models were specified with carbon-fiber bodywork, making for a stiffer and lighter body than the aluminum used on Pur Sang models. Design details include hood and tail louvers, headlights, a horseshoe grille with a silver enamel Bugatti “Macaron” badge, black leather hood tie-downs, and a faux filler cap.Alloy 16″ eight-spoke wheels are mounted with 3.50–16 Avon bias-ply tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are mounted on the left side of the body. The car features a tubular steel chassis with a hollow front axle and Andre Hartford friction disc shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by regenerative brakes at all four corners.

The cockpit features a bench trimmed in pleated black upholstery and equipped with an adjustable pedal box.

An Italian-made Nardi steering wheel sits at the right side of the cabin. The engine-turned aluminum dash panel houses an 80-km/h reverse-sweep speedometer, a battery level indicator, a power gauge, and a clock. Controls for the horn, lights, and gear selector are also present. A digital odometer beneath the hood displays 317 kilometers (~197 miles).

Power comes from a 10-kW electric motor mated to a direct-drive transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car features Novice, Expert, and Speed Key driving modes, the latter of which was inspired by speed keys used in other Bugatti models. When unrestricted, the top speed is reportedly over 40 mph.

The manufacturer’s plaque and serial number are riveted to the frame.
