30-Years-Owned 1987 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Z51 4-Speed at No Reserve

This 1987 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was specified from the factory with the Z51 Performance Handling Package and was acquired by the seller in 1996. Now showing 51k miles, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter L98 V8 linked with a Doug Nash “4+3″ manual transmission and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Yellow over Saddle leather. It rides on 16” American Racing alloy wheels and Bilstein dampers and is further equipped with a removable tinted-glass roof panel, air conditioning, a Delco-Bose sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. This C4 Coupe is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Yellow (35) with black moldings and features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, a removable tinted-glass roof panel, a rear wing, and quad exhaust outlets. Rock chips are noted on various panels.

The 16″ American Racing wheels are wrapped in Falken tires. The Z51 Performance Handling Package added heavy-duty suspension with Bilstein dampers. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features sport bucket seats upholstered in Saddle leather along with color-coordinated carpets and door panels. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Delco-Bose sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and an onboard computer.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital instrument panel that includes a speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel-level display as well as numeric readouts for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter L98 V8 is equipped with Tuned Port Injection as well as aluminum cylinder heads and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Doug Nash “4+3” manual transmission featuring push-button overdrive in the top three gears as well as a limited-slip differential. The overdrive unit is said to have been overhauled in 2024, and a replacement exhaust system has been installed.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
