This 1975 Datsun 280Z was acquired by its current owner in 2016, and a five-speed manual transmission was retrofitted in 2021. Additional work since that time has involved installing 15″ König alloy wheels and four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood front calipers as well as replacing the temperature sending unit, battery, ignition components, oil pan and valve cover gaskets, tires, and various suspension and steering components. The car is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six and is finished in red over black vinyl. Further equipment includes rear window louvers, air conditioning, a Sony cassette stereo, and a Flowmaster exhaust system. This 280Z shows 67k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with an owner’s manual, receipts for work performed under current ownership, and Alabama registration.

The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 2.8-liter L28 inline-six features an open-element K&N air filter as well as Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 149 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque. The fuel injectors were changed in 2017, and service since 2021 has involved replacing the temperature sending unit, battery, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, and oil pan and valve cover gaskets.

A five-speed manual transmission was installed in place of the factory four-speed unit in December 2021, at which time the rear main seal was replaced. A Flowmaster exhaust is said to have been installed.

The vehicle is being sold on its Alabama registration, which serves as the ownership document in Alabama.
