This 1988 BMW 325i convertible has spent the majority of its life in Washington state and was purchased by the seller in 2017. The timing belt was changed in August 2014, and subsequent service has included replacement of the oil pan gasket and oil level sensor, rear shocks, front soft brake lines, clutch slave cylinder, brake master cylinder, rear wheel bearings, brake light switch, and muffler. The car is finished in Black over Black leather and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, projector headlights, 14″ BBS basketweave alloy wheels, aftermarket taillights, front sport seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows, an onboard computer, and air conditioning. This E30 convertible is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Black (086) and is equipped with a black soft top, fog lights, and projector headlights. Aftermarket taillights have been installed. The soft top has two tears and a deteriorated rear window, while the driver-side headlight, fog light, and windshield are cracked. The lift cylinders for the top hatch and trunk hatch do not work.

The 14″ BBS basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with Kumho tires showing 2010 date codes. Stopping is accomplished via ventilated front and solid rear disc brakes. Service includes replacement of the right-front ball joint in May 2017, the rear shocks, shock tower mount, and mounting plate in August 2017, the front soft brake lines and clutch slave cylinder in August 2018, the brake master cylinder in June 2019, and the rear wheel bearings and brake light switch in May 2020.

The cabin features front sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in Black leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include cruise control and an onboard computer. The front and rear bench have tears in the upholstery, and the dashboard is cracked. The heated front seats and air conditioning do not work. The seller states that the stereo powers on but only produces static.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 214k miles, approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer was changed at approximately 3k miles in July 1988. The odometer does not work, and the onboard computer’s Brake Lights warning light is illuminated.

The 2.5-liter M20B25 inline-six features fuel injection. The timing belt was changed in August 2014, and service in May 2018 included replacement of the oil pan gasket and oil level sensor. The seller notes that the hood release cable does not work and corrosion is visible on the battery tray.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The muffler was replaced in August 2018, and the seller notes that corrosion is visible on the exhaust components.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The Washington state title lists an “Exempt” odometer notation.
