This 2012 Aston Martin Rapide is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 linked to a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Tungsten Silver over black and True Teal Bridge of Weir leather. The car has 45k miles following history in Florida and Illinois. Equipment includes an Adaptive Damping System, swan-style doors, parking sensors, heated and ventilated front and rear bucket seats, a fold-away infotainment screen, navigation, a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This Rapide is now offered by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual and a clean Illinois title.

The Rapide was built on a stretched version of Aston Martin’s VH platform and features an aluminum and composite body. This example is finished in Tungsten Silver (1262), and additional exterior details include a horizontally split grille, bright grille vanes, “swan wing” doors that open with a 12° upward arc, louvered hood vents, body-side strakes with integrated LED indicators, and dual exhaust outlets. A November 2018 entry in the Carfax report notes that the car was in a rear-end collision with another vehicle and sustained “minor damage” to the front. The front bumper has been refinished.

The 20″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires. Stopping power is provided by Aston Martin-branded calipers over disc brakes at each corner. A three-stage Adaptive Damping System (ADS) with three selectable drive modes was equipped as standard.

The four-passenger cabin features heated and ventilated front and rear bucket seats upholstered in black and True Teal Bridge of Weir leather. Additional appointments include folding rear seatbacks, rear-cabin climate controls, navigation, a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound sound system, and a dash-mounted fold-away infotainment screen.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a pair of paddle shifters and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep 8k-rpm tachometer, auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, and twin digital displays. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.9-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 470 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through an alloy torque tube with a carbon-fiber prop shaft, which is linked to a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report entry.
