This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle has been modified in the style of a Baja Bug and is powered by a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four linked to a four-speed manual transaxle. The bodywork is finished in red and black and incorporates a fiberglass bonnet, a sliding fabric sunroof, an integrated rear air scoop, and aftermarket fenders. Additional features include 15″ Cyclone-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Grant steering wheel, fixed-back bucket seats, and an aftermarket speaker system. This Beetle was acquired by the seller in 2000 and is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The bodywork has been repainted in red and black. Exterior details include a tubular front bumper and engine cradle as well as a driver-side mirror, mesh headlight guards, single-piece door windows, and custom running boards.

The 15″ Cyclone-style wheels are mounted with 235/75 Radar Renegade A/T5 tires. Disc brakes are fitted front and rear, and the seller notes that the front suspension has been overhauled.

Fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl and gray cloth have been installed, along with an aftermarket speaker system and billet door handles. The headliner and door panels have been replaced.

The three-spoke Grant steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. A Sunpro auxiliary readout is positioned to the right. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The seller notes that the air-cooled flat-four displaces 1.6 liters and was installed in 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.

The pan is said to have been stripped and coated.
