First iPhone 18 Pro teardown shows larger battery and vapor chamber

A short video teardown of the new iPhone 18 Pro reveals no great surprises, but does show how Apple managed to cool the processor and slim down the Dynamic Island.

Back in September 2025, teardowns of the iPhone 17 Pro revealed Apple’s then-new vapor chamber cooling system. Now the REWA Technology YouTube channel has taken apart the new iPhone 18 Pro and shown just which components have changed.

There are details Apple hasn’t discussed, such as new materials and alterations to cables. More significant changes concern the A20 Pro processor and the vapor chamber.
