I love decorating through the seasons, but I don’t want to feel like I have to redecorate the whole house every time a new season arrives. And I definitely don’t want to store a lot of bins filled with season-specific decor.

I don’t mind a bin of special pieces or a rolled-up rug that we bring out for a season, but any more than that begins to feel overwhelming for me to manage.

And to me, feeling overwhelmed defeats the whole point of creating a home that feels like a sanctuary.
