Normally, when you wake up on Monday, you are so tired that you can’t even begin to think about the rest of the week. But here’s the secret: that’s the completely wrong way to approach your Mondays. See, you can’t let Mondays get the best of you. If you wake up behind, you’ll stay behind, or have to work extra hard to catch up. That’s a surefire way to set yourself up for failure – and failure is not an option.

You have to wake up on Monday with the fury of 1,000 felines, ready to pounce on anything that moves and prepurred to scream at anyone who won’t give you what you want, when you want it. A hungry cat doesn’t waste time asking how your day was, or wait for you to feed them on your time. No, they make their problems your problem and don’t let their foot off the gas until you get up and feed them. That’s how you turn a Monday into a Meownday.

Meowndays contain significantly more yelling and demanding than Mondays, but how else are you supposed to get anything done nowadays? You have to wake up ready to take life by the feather toy and drag it along with you, instead of the other way around. “No” is no longer a word in your dictionary – there is only “Yes” and “Now”. You might be able to throw a “Please” in there if you’re feeling gracious.
