This Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider 750D was completed on April 20, 1957, and acquired by the current owner as a project in 2016. A subsequent restoration completed in 2020 by Carrozzeria Valtenesi in Nuvolera, Italy, included refinishing the body in Rosso Alfa, retrimming the interior in black vinyl with red piping, and overhauling the 1,290cc inline-four and four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a column-mounted gear selector, a black convertible top, a tripartite grille, and 15″ steel wheels. This short-wheelbase 750D Giulietta Spider is one of 5,940 examples produced, and it is now offered on dealer consignment in Maastricht, Netherlands, with Automotoclub Storico Italiano registry documents and an Italian Carta di Circolazione in the owner’s name.

Originally finished in Bianco, the Pininfarina-styled bodywork was refinished in Rosso Alfa during the restoration. Exterior features include a black convertible top, a tripartite grille, dual side mirrors, and bright bumpers and trim. The selling dealer notes that the convertible top mechanism is difficult to mount and operate. Images of the metalwork and repaint can be found in the gallery.

Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels feature bright Alfa Romeo-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 155-section Toyo 310 tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are stowed in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with red piping, accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard pad and door panels. Red carpeting lines the floors. Interior appointments include a column-mounted gear selector, crank windows, a heater, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. The column-mounted gear selector was installed during the build as a nod to early Giulietta Spider prototypes.

The body-color metal dashboard houses Veglia instrumentation featuring a 180-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 52k kilometers (~32k miles). Total mileage is unknown. The selling dealer notes that factory imperial oil and water temperature gauges remain fitted, though their readings reflect metric values due to European-specification sensors.

The 1,290cc DOHC inline-four is equipped with a single Solex carburetor and was factory rated at 65 horsepower. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The engine and driveline were overhauled during the build, and subsequent service was reportedly performed by Roderick Rutten in Heerlen, Netherlands.
