This 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Sport Coupe is said to have remained with one owner in Oregon until 2009 and was acquired in 2010 by its late owner and relocated to New York. Finished from the factory in Autumn Gold over Fawn vinyl, the car was repainted in the late 2010s and is powered by a 327ci V8 mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Finished from the factory in Autumn Gold, the car was repainted in the late 2010s. Details include chrome bumpers, quad headlights, Impala SS badging, and a recessed tail panel with dual triplet taillights. Areas of paint bubbles are shown in the gallery below.

Steel 14″ wheels wear triple-finned vented covers and are mounted with mixed tires. SS examples were fitted with a heavy-duty suspension that included revised front and rear coil springs and shock absorbers. This example is equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted drum brakes.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in Fawn vinyl. Appointments include vent windows, metal trim accents, a center console, manual-crank windows, an AM radio, and a heater. The clock does not work. Noted flaws include damage to the upholstery on the passenger seat and a split in the upholstery at the base of the driver’s seat.
