This 2012 McLaren MP4-12C has 9k miles following the seller’s purchase in 2020, and it was specified in Volcano Red over Saddle Tan leather upholstery. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included the installation of a 720S-specification seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle as well as a replacement rear main seal, water pump, and tires. The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 is reportedly equipped with revised engine management software, and equipment includes parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, an active rear spoiler, dihedral doors, ProActive Chassis Control, Launch Control, carbon-ceramic brakes, Stealth-finished 19″ and 20″ lightweight forged wheels, power-adjustable seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a Meridian sound system. This MP4-12C is now offered in Louisiana with a clean Carfax report and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Volcano Red and features an F1-style one-piece molded carbon-fiber tub and plastic composite body panels. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, dihedral doors, a single pantograph windshield wiper, an active rear spoiler, parking sensors, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The Stealth-finished 19″ and 20″ lightweight forged wheels were mounted with staggered-width Pirelli P Zero tires in August 2026. The car is equipped with Launch Control and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which includes Winter, Normal, Sport, and Track modes. McLaren’s ProActive Chassis Control system provides adjustable ride and suspension settings.

The cockpit houses power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Saddle Tan leather, which extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a Meridian sound system.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel carries a pair of paddle shifters and fronts a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline and an inset digital speedometer along with dual multifunction screens. The digital odometer indicates 9k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft and dry-sump lubrication. Factory-rated output was 593 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque, and the seller states that revised engine management software has been installed. A replacement water pump and rear crankshaft main seal were installed in 2020.

The factory transaxle was replaced in 2020, and the seller tells us that the replacement seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle is a 720S-specification unit.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
