1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce

This 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce underwent a repaint in red and an engine rebuild as part of a refurbishment completed in Oregon in the late 1980s. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2026 and relocated to California, where it received over $5k of engine, brake, and suspension work by Alfaman of Novato, California. Finished in red, the car is powered by a 1.6L twin-cam inline-four equipped with dual Weber carburetors and paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It rides on 14″ GTA-style wheels coupled with power-assisted disc brakes and Koni shocks at all four corners. Inside, seats trimmed in gray cloth and black vinyl are accompanied by a Simpson lap belt for the driver as well as Veglia and Jaeger instrumentation. This stepnose is now offered on dealer consignment in Berkeley, California, with service records, spare parts, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.

The Bertone-designed bodywork was stripped and repainted red at Rabbit Hutch East of Portland, Oregon, in December 1988. The bumpers have been removed, and further details include a stepped hood, a bullet-style driver-side mirror, and quadrifoglio C-pillar badging.

The 14″ GTA-style wheels are mounted with 175-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent double-wishbone setup with an anti-roll bar up front paired with a live axle, lower trailing arms, and a reaction trunnion out back. Koni shocks have been added, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners. Work in April 2026 involved replacing the brake-booster check valve along with the trailing arm bushings.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in gray cloth with black vinyl sides. A Simpson latch-and-link belt is fitted for the driver, and further appointments include an Audiovox cassette stereo and an IPRA heater as well as manual crank door windows and pop-out pivoting rear side glass.

The steering wheel is paired with a floor-mounted shifter and frames a Veglia 220-km/h speedometer, a Jaeger 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 62k kilometers (~39k miles), approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable was replaced in April 2026, and true mileage is unknown.

The 1.6L twin-cam inline-four was factory rated at 105 horsepower. Records indicate that the engine was rebuilt in 1989. Work in April 2026 involved re-jetting and adjusting the dual Weber carburetors and setting the timing as well as replacing the cooling fan, voltage regulator, spark plugs, and ignition wires. A Facet electric fuel pump is fitted out back.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The transmission mount was changed in April 2026.

Two photos taken in the course of the refurbishment are shown above and included in a binder of other records that will accompany the car.

Two workshop manuals, the removed bumpers, and a box of spare parts are also included in the sale.
