This 1953 Ford Crestline Victoria coupe was purchased by the owner’s father in 1981, and a custom build completed in 2004 involved repainting the body in metallic purple after the car was nosed and frenched headlights and bullet-style taillights were added. Power is provided by a 302ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, and an Edelbrock intake manifold is installed along with a four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and a dual exhaust system with coated headers. Inside, the power-adjustable front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in two-tone gray leather and accompanied by a Pioneer CD stereo, a Vintage Air under-dash air conditioning system, a banjo-style steering wheel, and Equus gauges. Chrome 15″ wheels wear thin-whitewall radial tires and are mounted over power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. This modified Crestline Victoria is now offered on dealer consignment with a California title.

The 15″ chrome wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are wrapped in 215/75 Venezia Classic tires that were mounted in 2018, according to the seller. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The power-adjustable low-back front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in two-tone gray leather, and the door panels and rear trim panels are upholstered to match. Appointments include a Pioneer CD stereo, rear package-shelf speakers, and a Vintage Air under-dash air conditioning unit.

The banjo-style steering wheel is mounted to an aftermarket column and frames a set of Equus gauges consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 3,800 miles have been added since the build in 2004.

The Ford 302ci V8 was installed in 2005 according to the seller, and it is equipped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and polished valve covers. The polished aluminum radiator is accompanied by an electric fan.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Coated headers feed into a dual exhaust system.

The car is titled by the California assigned identification number B3RV132816, which is consistent with the serial number for a 1953 Crestline Victoria powered by a 239ci flathead V8 assembled at the Richmond, California production facility.
