6.4L Hemi-Powered, 50k-Mile 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

This 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was retrofitted with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 and a five-speed automatic transmission in 2012, and it has been driven 50k miles by its two owners, the first of whom kept it for a total of 14 years. Riding on a TeraFlex suspension lift kit and 17″ KMC XD Series XD797 Spy wheels, the truck has been further modified with a Flowmaster exhaust system, a Warn winch and driving lights, steel bumpers, and fender flares. It also has over $4k in options, a dual-range transfer case, Tru-Lok locking differentials, Dana 44 axles, a Freedom Top removable hardtop, Bright Silver Metallic Clearcoat paint, Medium Slate Gray and Dark Slate Gray cloth upholstery, and UConnect infotainment. This JK Wrangler Unlimited is now offered in Texas by the selling dealer with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, and a clean Louisiana title.

The body is finished in Bright Silver Metallic Clearcoat (PS2) with a black-finished Freedom Top three-piece removable hardtop. Modifications include a Warn 9.5ti front winch, steel bumpers, Warn HID driving lights, metal front-inner fender liners, revised fender flares, a vented hood, a front wind deflector, window tint, and 392 badging. Additional exterior details include a receiver hitch, running boards, and roof crossbars. The Carfax report shows damage in October 2010.

The truck rides on a TeraFlex suspension lift kit that uses TeraFlex 9550 shocks and adjustable control arms. The suspension also uses a Rancho steering stabilizer. The 17″ KMC XD Series XD797 Spy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the aftermarket swing-away rear carrier.

The front bucket seats and 60/40 folding rear bench are trimmed in Medium Slate Gray cloth with Dark Slate Gray patterned inserts, while rubber mats line the footwells. The center console has a Quadratec cushion, front grab handles are affixed to the padded roll bar, and additional amenities include Misch front armrests, cruise control, air conditioning, and UConnect infotainment with a 6.5″ touchscreen and navigation.

Instrumentation framed by the leather-wrapped steering wheel includes a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,600-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 50k miles. The TPMS light is illuminated.

The 3.8-liter V6 was swapped for a 6.4-liter Hemi crate V8 in June 2012 by Total Auto Pros of Phoenix, Arizona.

A five-speed automatic transmission was retrofitted in place of the factory four-speed unit during the build. It drives the rear or all four wheels along with a Command-Trac dual-range transfer case, Tru-Lok locking front and rear differentials, and Dana 44 front and rear axles. The truck has a Flowmaster exhaust system.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Action Jeep of Jackson, Missouri, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $37,290.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage. It also lists at least one open recall.
