This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 is a rest-of-world coupe that was reportedly imported from Japan and purchased by its current owner in 2026. Subsequent work has totaled over $7k and involved rebuilding the rear axle, performing a cylinder leak-down test, servicing the air conditioning system, and refinishing and fitting the 17″ Cup wheels with replacement Continental tires in addition to replacing the brakes and other components as detailed below. Refinished in Linen Grey over black leather, the car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. Equipment includes lowering springs, headlight washers, a rear wiper, and a deployable rear spoiler in addition to heated power-adjustable front seats, PCCM infotainment, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning. Showing 124k kilometers (~77k miles), this 964 C2 coupe is offered on dealer consignment in California with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the owner’s name.

The no-sunroof car has been repainted in a hue described by the selling dealer as Linen Grey. Exterior details include headlight washers, integrated fog lights, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a heatable rear window, and a rear window wiper. Preparation for the sale is said to have included paint correction along with replacing the body seals and the exterior lighting and trim. Photos showing paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery below.

The 17″ Cup wheels were refinished in silver and mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires in preparation for the sale. Lowering springs have been fitted. The four-wheel ventilated disc brakes were overhauled with replacement discs, pads, and fluid within the last two months, and additional work involved repairing one of the calipers and the ABS wiring.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and folding rear seats. Additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows, central locking, cruise control, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management infotainment unit.

The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 300-km/h speedometer, a quartz analog clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 124k kilometers (~77k miles), approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. Service in August 2026 included changing the oil, recharging the air-conditioning refrigerant, and replacing the air filter, engine-accessory belts, and distributor caps. A cylinder leak-down test was completed the following month, and the results indicated that all cylinders were under 5% with the exception of Cylinder #2, which is noted as having measured at 9% due to exhaust leakage.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. The rear axle was rebuilt and the left-rear axle boot replaced in September 2026.
The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
The car is an imported example titled in Washington but located in California. It has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and it has not passed a California smog test.
