This custom chopper, dubbed Spartan Killer, is the product of a four-year build performed by Harold “McGoo” McGruther of Biltwell, Inc. in Temecula, California, using a 2009 Spartan Frameworks hardtail chassis and a Kutty Noteboom-built 96ci S&S Cycle Evo-style V-twin. It is finished in silver with CMYK stripes and features a black leather Duane Ballard seat, a Cole Foster fuel tank, a 7MetalWest rear fender, a Renato Cardone oil tank, a rabbit-ear handlebar, and a Biltwell Mako taillight. Additional equipment includes an Ultima five-speed transmission, a Tech Cycle open primary chain and clutch, a Harley-Davidson FXST fork, Sportster 9-spoke alloy wheels, Flyrite front disc and rear sprotor brakes, a 42mm Mikuni carburetor, and a set of custom-made drag pipes. The bike appeared in the April 2015 issue of Hot Bike magazine, and the build was chronicled in a thread on Chopcult.com. Spartan Killer was purchased by the seller in July 2026 and is now offered at no reserve with removed parts and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

Bodywork including a Salinas Boyz Custom fuel tank by Cole Foster and a 7MetalWest 5″ ribbed alloy rear fender that is secured with struts from a Lowbrow build kit were painted a custom silver metallic with CMYK stripes at Hot Dog Customs of Oceanside, California. The bodywork is complemented by a black-finished 2009 Spartan Frameworks hardtail chassis with 30 degrees of stretch and no rake, and additional features include a black leather Duane Ballard Custom Leather seat with diamond stitching and ventilation grommets, a polished stainless-steel oil tank by Renato Cardone, an amber-lensed headlight, a Biltwell Mako cast alloy taillight, forward foot controls, a vertically oriented side-mounted license plate holder, and a side stand.

Polished 19″ Harley-Davidson Sportster nine-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 3.25″ front and 4.00″ rear Firestone Deluxe Champion zig-zag tread tires. Braking up front is provided by a Flyrite Choppers 11.5″ drilled stainless-steel disc with a 2004 Yamaha YZ250 caliper, and a Flyrite combination sprocket/rotor and two-piston caliper kit is fitted at the rear. The bike’s only suspension consists of a Harley-Davidson 41mm FXST fork assembly secured by bored-out 39mm Sportster triple trees.

The chrome rabbit-ear handlebar is fitted with Kustom Tech billet forged hand controls. There is no instrumentation, therefore mileage is unknown.

The 96ci S&S Cycle V-twin was built by Hippy Killer Hoedown owner Kutty Noteboom utilizing an S&S Cycle Super Stock aluminum crankcase, cylinders, and cylinder heads as well as a 42mm Mikuni HSR flat-side carburetor, a low-profile Pinner air cleaner from Boyle Custom Moto (BCM), and straight-through drag pipes fashioned from a Biltwell exhaust builder kit. The engine and transmission oils were changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a Tech Cycle 530 open primary chain and clutch, an Ultima five-speed gearbox, and a drive chain rolling on a Flyrite 50-tooth sprotor.

The bike as it appeared in the April 2015 issue of Hot Bike magazine was equipped with a Biltwell Zero Drag handlebar and 4″ Biltwell Gordo risers that have since been removed and are included in the sale.
The Washington title lists the bike as a 2012 HOMD (homemade motorcycle).
