This 1998 Land Rover Defender 130 is a left-hand-drive crew-cab pickup that was refurbished in 2022 by Von Dur Land Rovers in the Netherlands before it was imported to the US and purchased by its current owner in 2024. Finished in metallic black over white-stitched black leather upholstery, the truck is powered by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Other equipment includes a locking center differential, 16″ Sawtooth-style wheels, disc brakes, LED lights, a Puma-style hood, side steps, a rearview camera, touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay connectivity, heated seats, power windows, and air conditioning. This Defender 130 is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with Von Dur Land Rovers documentation and a clean New York title.

The body was removed from the chassis during the build and refinished in metallic black. The windows and seals were reportedly replaced, and exterior details include LED lighting, a Puma-style hood, windshield and front-fender vents, a front skid plate, dual side mirrors, tubular side steps, a drop-down tailgate, a rearview camera, and fender flares. The windshield wipers work intermittently, and close-up photos of the finish are provided in the gallery below.

Black-finished 16″ Sawtooth-style wheels are mounted with 265/70 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a matching spare setup is secured in the bed. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, which were overhauled along with the suspension in 2024.

The reworked interior received replacement insulation in conjunction with the heated front bucket seats and split-folding rear bench being reupholstered in white-stitched black leather with diamond-pattern inserts. The dashboard, center-console lid, and door panels are trimmed to match, and additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows, added USB outlets, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay linked to a Pioneer subwoofer.

Instrumentation ahead of the wood-rimmed steering wheel consists of a 150-km/h speedometer, a voltmeter, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,700 kilometers (~1k miles), all added under current ownership. This represents the mileage accrued since the build was completed.

The 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was overhauled by Von Dur Land Rovers in 2022. The fuel tank and electrical system were replaced at this time, and a heavy-duty radiator was installed.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed R380 manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The build included overhauling the gearbox and refurbishing the driveshafts as well as sandblasting and powder-coating the chassis.
