2000 Ford Excursion Limited Power Stroke 4×4

This 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4×4 is finished in Toreador Red Metallic over Medium Parchment leather and powered by a 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes a cowl hood, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, heated front seats, cruise control, air conditioning, a CD/cassette stereo, and a K&N air intake. This Excursion shows 135k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and an Indiana title.

The truck is finished in Toreador Red Metallic with tan-accented bumpers, wheel arch trim, and lower cladding. Exterior details include a cowl hood, a keyless entry pad, telescoping trailer mirrors, window visors, running boards, a split tailgate, and a receiver hitch. A March 2003 entry on the Carfax report says that the truck was involved in a rear-end collision with another vehicle and notes “functional” damage to the front. Imperfections can be seen in the gallery below.

Polished 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 285/75 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires. The truck has manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The heated front captain’s chairs and second- and third-row bench seats are trimmed in Medium Parchment leather. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a center console, an overhead console, a CD/cassette stereo, a trailer brake controller, cruise control, and air conditioning. There is some wear on the front seat upholstery.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 3,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, transmission temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 135k miles.

The 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 was rated at 235 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque when new and has been fitted with a K&N air intake. The selling dealer says that the oil has been changed approximately every 5k miles.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential with 3.73:1 gearing. There is some rust on the undercarriage, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Central Ford Truck Sales in Lansing, Michigan, along with factory colors, options, and a total MSRP of $46,210.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident.

The Indiana title carries an “Actual” odometer brand.
