This 2001 Qvale Mangusta has 8k miles and is one of 284 examples produced during a three-year production run. The car was originally ordered by the owner of the Qvale factory, and it was specified in Bonzai Blue Effect over black leather. Power comes from a 4.6-liter Ford V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a three-mode Rototop convertible roof system, chrome-finished 18″ five-spoke Antera wheels, Brembo brakes, fog lights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, and a Nakamichi MB-75 AM/FM stereo with a six-disc CD changer. The seller notes that a family member purchased the car in 2005, and they acquired it in 2026. This Mangusta is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The car’s three-layer molded resin body was designed by Marcello Gandini, and this example is finished in blue. The Rototop roof system allows for hardtop, targa, or cabriolet configurations by means of a power-retractable rear window assembly and a removable top panel. Additional exterior features include fog lights, fender vents, and heated and power-adjustable side mirrors along with a polished fuel door and quad exhaust outlets. Imperfections and worn seals are noted.

The chrome-finished 18″ five-spoke Antera wheels are mounted with Michelin tires, which the seller recommends replacing due to age. A double wishbone suspension and front and rear anti-roll bars were equipped as standard, and the car features anti-lock ventilated disc brakes with four-piston Brembo calipers.

The front bucket seats and two-place rear bench are trimmed in black leather, and interior equipment includes a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, air conditioning, an analog clock, Mangusta-branded door sill plates, and a Nakamichi MB-75 AM/FM stereo with a six-disc CD changer.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on an adjustable column and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The Ford-sourced DOHC 4.6-liter V8 was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 314 lb-ft of torque. A battery cut-off switch has been installed, and the battery was replaced in August 2026. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T45 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The above document notes that this car was “specifically painted for the owner of the factory in Bonzai Blue Effect.”
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
