Original-Owner 2006 Acura RSX Type-S 6-Speed at No Reserve

This 2006 Acura RSX Type-S was purchased new by the seller’s father and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. The car now has 169k miles and is finished in Vivid Blue Pearl over Ebony leather. Equipment includes five-spoke 17″ alloy wheels, a sunroof, a front spoiler and side skirts, a rear spoiler, fog lights, a sport-tuned suspension, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, a cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer, an aluminum shift knob, and automatic climate control. This RSX Type-S is now offered in Kentucky by the current owner’s son at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Alabama title.

The car is finished in Vivid Blue Pearl, and exterior details include a sunroof, a front spoiler and side skirts, a rear spoiler, fog lights, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, pinstripes, and a rear window wiper. Dings, scratches, and additional blemishes around the body are visible in the gallery below.

The five-spoke 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with 215/45 Kumho Ecsta 4X tires. The car was factory equipped with a sport-tuned suspension. Anti-lock four-wheel ventilated disc brakes were standard along with variable-assist power steering. Curb marks are visible on the wheels. The power steering pump was replaced in November 2022, and the brake pads and brake rotors were replaced in August 2025.

The front bolstered bucket and split-folding rear bench seats are upholstered in perforated Ebony leather, and interior appointments include cruise control, power windows and locks, a rear window defogger, a cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer, a Richbass subwoofer, an aluminum shift knob, and automatic climate control. The driver’s seat bolster upholstery is torn, and the mirrors in the sunvisors are broken.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames white-dial instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,100-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 169k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter K20Z1 inline-four features i-VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 143 lb-ft of torque. The starter was replaced in November 2022, and the timing chain components, camshaft, and connecting rod bearing were replaced in February 2026.

Power is routed to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage and lists at least one open recall.
