This 1984 Audi 80 was built by S1 Performance in Lithuania in the style of a factory Sport Quattro. The work took place over a five-month period in 2015 and included fitting a Kevlar and carbon-fiber body kit along with Audi S2 brakes, KW racing suspension, Recaro leather and Alcantara seats, a turbocharged 2.2-liter 20V inline-five, and 16″ Azev alloys painted to match the body. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in November 2018, and since that time the car has been further modified with 034 Motorsport solid chassis mounts, a custom tubular exhaust manifold, a Pulsar 5862G turbocharger, a custom 3″ exhaust system, FIC 1650cc injectors, an upgraded fuel system, a MaxxECU engine-management system with a custom wiring harness, Jeff Gerner-spec camshafts, Supertech valvetrain components, an 01E six-speed manual transaxle, a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, a JHM 4:1 center differential, a Ringer Racing Stage 4 billet clutch, and JHM shift linkage. Finished in Alpine White over a black interior, the car is now offered as part of the Tons Of Gas Auto Collection in Charlotte, North Carolina, with service records and a Montana title in the seller’s LLC name.

The carbon-fiber and Kevlar body kit consists of a Sport Quattro-style hood, fenders, bumper covers, and side skirts, and it was installed by S1 Performance in Lithuania.

Smoked taillights, a raised rear spoiler, and Passat-sourced H4 headlights were fitted. Splash guards are mounted all around.

White-finished 16″ Azev five-spoke wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R tires measuring 225/50.

The suspension was modified with height-adjustable KW coilovers, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs using factory Audi S2 components. The tie-rod ends were replaced and a four-wheel alignment was performed in December 2024.

The cabin houses Recaro C81 sport seats trimmed in black leather and microsuede.

Additional equipment includes an ABT-style pod with auxiliary gauges, a JVC head unit, an AM/FM radio, and a newer differential-lock control panel. The seller notes that the air conditioning does not work.

An Audi Sport three-spoke steering wheel has been fitted along with a green VDO digital instrument cluster with a trip computer and LCD screens supplemented by digital readouts for oil temperature and voltage mounted in the center stack. 87k miles are indicated, though total mileage is unknown. The ignition lock cylinder and housing were replaced in December 2024.

The custom-built 2.2-liter 20-valve inline-five was previously modified with forged FCP Engineering connecting rods, Wossner pistons, ACL Race Series bearings, ARP head studs, racing exhaust valves, a modified intake manifold, a front-mounted intercooler, a Bosch Motorsport high-pressure fuel pump, a programmable ECU, a performance oil cooler, and a custom S1 Performance exhaust manifold.

Work under current ownership included installation of a custom tubular manifold, a Pulsar 5862G turbocharger, a custom exhaust, FIC 1650cc injectors, an AEM 380-lph fuel pump, AN8 feed and AN6 return lines, an 034 Motorsport fuel rail, a MaxxECU Street system with a custom wiring harness, Supertech valvetrain components, and billet Cat Cams camshafts that were specified and degreed by Jeff Gerner. December 2024 records also note replacement of the battery, timing belt, impulse sender, cam sensor, and oxygen sensor as well as installation of oil feed and return lines, a wastegate, a charge-pipe kit, a Turbo XS blow-off valve, inconel heat shielding, and fuel-system components. The car was reportedly tuned on E85 to produce 660 horsepower and is currently tuned on 93-octane fuel at a claimed 450 horsepower.

Power is sent to all four wheels through an 01E six-speed manual transaxle that was installed under current ownership. The swap included a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, a Ringer Racing Stage 4 billet clutch and flywheel, a JHM 4:1 center differential, JHM Trio shift linkage with modified B5 S4 linkage, a Hersh Performance adapter and swap mounts, axle seals, a clutch master cylinder, an SAC clutch slave cylinder, and an NTN differential bearing. The seller notes driveline noise.

Records denote work performed under current ownership.

The car is titled as a 1984 Audi 80 coupe using VIN WAUZZZ81ZFA064968.
