This 1971 Dodge D100 Sweptline pickup was refurbished under prior ownership around 2024. Its 318ci V8 was rebuilt and is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor, and the TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission also was rebuilt. The suspension has been lowered approximately 5″ and features a QA1 independent front setup and coilovers, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and QA1 rear shocks. The truck has been repainted metallic gray with a black roof panel and trim. The interior features custom black leather upholstery with diamond-pattern red stitching plus a Forever Sharp steering wheel and three-point seatbelts. Other features include a 3″ stainless-steel side-exit exhaust system, staggered-width black Detroit Steel 20″ wheels, bright hubcaps, CPP front disc brakes, LED headlights, and a spray-in bedliner. The seller purchased the vehicle in mid-2026. The exhaust manifolds and gaskets, the valve-cover gaskets, the thermostat, and the transmission-pan gasket were replaced in August 2026, at which point the distributor was converted from points to electronic ignition and the fluids were changed. This modified D-series is now offered in Maryland with recent service records and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The truck is said to have been stripped to bare metal during the aforementioned refurbishment before being refinished in custom metallic gray paint with pearlescent and candy-flake elements. The driver-side taillight was repaired in preparation for the sale.

Gloss-black paint is applied to the roof, front bumper, grille, door handles, badges, side-mirror housings, and trim. The LED headlights have integrated turn signals. The side-marker lights are tinted.

The pickup bed is coated in black spray-in bedliner material. The glass, weatherstripping, and rubber seals were replaced during the refurbishment.

Black-finished Detroit Steel 20×8″ front and 20×9″ rear smoothie wheels with bright hubcaps are mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires measuring 245/40 in front and 275/40 at the rear. The QA1 independent front suspension has tubular control arms, drop spindles, and coilovers accompanying a power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering conversion. The rear axle has been flipped and is supported by leaf springs and QA1 shocks, and the overall ride height has been lowered 5″, the seller tells us. Classic Performance Products 11.5″ front discs with drilled rotors are supplemented by rebuilt rear drum brakes and a power-assist booster. The suspension was adjusted in preparation for the sale.

The bench seat has been reupholstered in black leather with diamond-pattern red stitching, a theme that carries over to the headliner. The dashboard and door panels are painted body color, and other interior appointments include three-point outboard red seatbelts, an AM radio, a dome light, sun visors, and black carpeting. The passenger-door striker and glass were adjusted in August 2026.

The Forever Sharp steering wheel fronts a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, alternator status, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, less than 100 of which were added under current ownership; true mileage is unknown.

The 318ci V8 was rebuilt under prior ownership and is augmented by an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock open-element air cleaner, and a 3″ stainless-steel exhaust system with Borla ATAK mufflers. The fuel lines, radiator, alternator, and battery were replaced during the refurbishment. In addition, the engine compartment was repainted in matte black. In August 2026, the exhaust manifolds and gaskets, the valve-cover gaskets, and the thermostat were replaced. Also, the cooling system was flushed and the engine oil and filter were changed.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission that was serviced in August 2026 with replacement of the fluid, filter, and pan gasket plus adjustment of the bands and the kickdown linkage. The differential was serviced as well. The fuel tank has been relocated to be behind the rear axle.
The Virginia title carries an “Actual” odometer brand.
