This 2001 BMW X5 4.4i remained with its original owner in California until 2024 and was acquired by the current owner on BaT later that same year. Under current ownership 7k of the 21k indicated miles have been added, and work has included replacing the tires and both valve covers, recharging the air conditioning, and performing over $5k in interior repairs and interior and exterior detailing. The power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Pastel Green Montana leather that extends to the split-folding rear bench and door panels. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline as well as gauges for instant fuel economy, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 21k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.4-liter M62TUB44 V8 was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership has included replacing both valve cover gaskets in January 2025 as well as replacing the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and performing an oil change in January 2026.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and an xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
