This 1941 Cadillac Series 61 touring sedan is finished in black over maroon cloth and retains a 346ci V8 linked with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes red-painted 15″ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, a rear sofa with a fold-down armrest, and a heater. The car was purchased by the current owner’s brother in 2013 and has been parked for several years. This Series 61 project is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner at no reserve with spare parts and an Illinois title in the name of the owner’s business.

Cadillacs were restyled for 1941 with a lower-closing one-piece hood, a rectangular grille with inset parking lights, and headlights set in the fenders. The car is finished in black (51), and exterior details include dual-side mirrors, a flying lady hood ornament, and a split windshield. The seller notes evidence of Bondo and prior paintwork. There is damage to the right-front fender and left quarter panel. Wheel skirts are included in the sale.

Red-painted 15″ steel wheels feature chrome hubcaps and are mounted with older Coker Classic wide-whitewall tires. Braking is provided by hydraulically actuated drums at each corner.

The cabin houses front and rear bench seats upholstered in maroon cloth. Interior appointments include an analog clock, a fold-down rear armrest, a radio, and a heater.

The steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 92k miles.

The 346ci Monobloc L-head V8 was factory equipped with a two-barrel downdraft carburetor and was rated at 150 horsepower when new. The engine has not been started in many years and does not run.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The exhaust system has been replaced and has a Flowmaster muffler.
