1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe G50 at No Reserve

This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was specified in Summer Yellow over Mahogany partial leather, and it was acquired by the current owner circa 2012. The car is said to have been used for PCA driving events in the Midwest under previous ownership, and it has been modified with an RS America-specification limited-slip differential, Billy Boat exhaust components, Koni dampers, and heavy-duty torsion bars. Powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle, the car is equipped with 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a power-operated sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, an Alpine CD stereo, an aftermarket sound system, and cruise control. This Carrera coupe shows 83k miles and is now offered on behalf of the owner at no reserve by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, with service records dating from 1993, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a Wisconsin title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Summer Yellow and features a power-operated sunroof, a rear spoiler, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, Bosch H4 headlights, and mesh inserts have been installed in place of the front fog lights. The seller tells us that the right fender and quarter panel were repaired and repainted following damage to the area. Chips are present on the mirror housings, and additional photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below.

The 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels were mounted with staggered-width Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires in August 2026. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. A front strut tower brace, Koni dampers, and heavy-duty torsion bars were installed under previous ownership, according to the seller. Maintenance following the owner’s purchase is said to have included replacing the brake pads and flushing the brake fluid.

The cabin features front seats upholstered in Mahogany partial leather, along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include power windows, cruise control, an aftermarket dead pedal, and an Alpine CD stereo linked with a Kenwood equalizer, Boston Acoustics door speakers, and Infinity rear speakers. A previously installed speaker has been removed from the upper portion of the left door panel, and the air conditioning system is inoperative.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a clocked central tachometer and 170-mph speedometer, as well as a Quarz analog clock and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer drive gear was replaced in July 2007.

The 3.2-liter M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management, and it was removed for a top-end overhaul in January 2003 at approximately 70k miles. Work at that time is said to have included machining the cylinder bores and cylinder heads as well as replacing the piston rings, camshafts, and rod bearings. Service under current ownership consisted of oil and filter changes, along with valve adjustments. The seller reports that the engine has a 10.5:1 compression ratio and that Porsche 964-specification camshafts have been installed. Photos of compression and leak-down test results from August 2026 are provided at the end of the gallery. The air conditioning components have been removed from the engine bay.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle with a straight-cut fifth gear, per the seller, who tells us that an RS America-specification limited-slip differential was installed under previous ownership. The differential was rebuilt in July 2007, and the transaxle was serviced the following year. The car was fitted with Billy Boat headers and a Billy Boat muffler under previous ownership, per the seller. Corrosion is noted in some of the underside hardware, and additional photos of the underbody condition are viewable in the gallery below.
