RWD-Converted 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe 6-Speed

This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and has been modified with a rear-wheel-drive conversion, a VarioRam intake, an aftermarket exhaust, a short shifter, and a lightweight clutch and flywheel. It wears a repaint in blue over a reupholstered gray interior, and additional highlights include 18″ RUF-style wheels, coilover suspension, front and rear spoilers, and a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel. The engine is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership, and a majority of the modifications were carried out between 2023 and 2025. Acquired by the current owner in 2025, this 993 C4 coupe shows 257k miles and is now offered in New York on dealer consignment with a Carfax report and a clean Alabama title.

The car left the factory finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and was repainted under previous ownership. The color is described as Mexico Blue, and exterior features include an RS-style front spoiler, a ducktail rear spoiler, Turbo S-style front brake ducts, and a sunroof. Damage is noted in the Carfax report in 2017. The seller notes that paint protection film has been applied to the body.

The 18″ RUF-style wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. H&R coilovers have been installed, and the seller notes that they are set to RS-specification ride height.

The seats have been retrimmed in gray with microsuede inserts and blue stitching. The car is equipped with a Blaupunkt stereo. The air conditioning system was overhauled in 2023 and again in 2025.

The microsuede-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 257k miles. The gauges were overhauled and refinished by North Hollywood Speedometer in 2024.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The engine is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership. In 2025, the car was fitted with a VarioRam intake, a Steve Wong performance chip, an Evolution Motorsports intake, RS-specification engine mounts, and an aftermarket exhaust system with Fister mufflers and Soul Performance catalytic converters.

The car was converted to rear-wheel drive using an FD Motorsports kit, and the six-speed manual transaxle was rebuilt with replacement synchros in 2025. A limited-slip differential was optioned from the factory, and a Fister short shifter and an RS-specification clutch and flywheel have been installed.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned damage.
