1970 Porsche 911T Targa 5-Speed

This 1970 Porsche 911T Targa was acquired by the seller in 2025, and work has since included installing Weber carburetors and a 15mm rear sway bar, along with replacement of the spark plugs, ignition wires, and shifter bushings. The car is finished in red over black leatherette and cloth and is powered by a 2.2-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, an RS-style front bumper, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, 14″ Fuchs alloy wheels, front sport seats, and an AM/FM radio. This longhood 911T Targa is now offered with service records, spare parts, and a clean New Hampshire title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in red and was repainted some time ago. A fiberglass RS-style front bumper has been installed, and additional features include a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, Euro-style taillight lenses, vent windows, and a driver-side mirror. The seller notes flaws on the Targa top.

The 14″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners. A 15mm rear sway bar was installed in 2025.

The front Recaro sport seats are upholstered in black leatherette with cloth centers, and interior appointments include a locking glovebox, a Sears AM/FM radio, and a heater. There are cracks in the dash and the door pockets should be replaced per the seller. The shifter bushings were replaced in 2025.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.2-liter flat-six was factory rated at 125 horsepower and was overhauled in 2015, including reconditioning of the cylinders, resurfacing the cylinder heads, and polishing the crankshaft. Replacement batteries were installed in 2025. Dual Weber carburetors and a fuel pressure regulator were fitted in 2026, and the spark plugs and ignition wires were replaced.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed 901 manual transaxle. A Dansk muffler is installed.
