This 2000 BMW M5 is finished in Jet Black over black Nappa Heritage leather and is powered by a 4.9-liter S62 V8 linked to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was previously sold on BaT in July 2023 and was acquired by the current owner on BaT in October 2025 before a Dinan performance package was installed, consisting of a cold air intake system, a high-flow air mass meter kit, an axle-back exhaust, Stage 3 ECU software, and a short shifter. Additional features include 18″ alloy wheels, xenon headlights, a sunroof, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, woodgrain trim, and navigation. This E39 M5 has 43k miles and is now offered by the seller in Connecticut on behalf of the current owner with an owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Delaware title in the owner’s name.

The body is finished in Jet Black (668) with Shadowline trim. Exterior details include xenon headlights with washers as well as fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a glass sunroof, a trunk lid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets.

Chrome Shadow 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, the fronts of which were replaced in 2025. The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with All Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs measuring 13.6″ and 12.9″ front and rear, respectively. The brake fluid was flushed in 2025.

The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats and contoured rear bench are trimmed in black Nappa Heritage leather. Walnut trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels, and additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a Dinan short shifter, M5-branded floor mats, and navigation. The CD player works intermittently.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 43k miles, approximately 1k of which were driven under current ownership. The instrument cluster was repaired in 2020 to correct dead pixels in the display.

The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was modified under current ownership with a Dinan carbon-fiber cold air intake system, a high-flow air mass meter kit, an axle-back exhaust, and Stage 3 engine management software. The oil was changed, and the coolant was flushed in 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage.
