This red-over-black 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was first sold at Palmyra Motors of Palmyra, New York, and it won Bloomington Gold recognition in 1984. Additional refurbishment work was carried out in 1989 and 1990, which involved removing the body from the frame and overhauling the brakes and suspension. The car earned NCRS Top Flight honors in those same years. The seller acquired it before a 1994 rebuild of the 427ci L68 V8, and the car received NCRS Top Flight honors in 1998. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a Positraction differential, 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, power windows, an AM/FM radio, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered with a Protect-O-Plate, tank and window stickers, initial sales documentation, the owner’s manual, service records, awards, a car cover, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.

The fiberglass body was finished in Rally Red (974) and has been refinished in lacquer, per the seller. Features include a curved glass rear window, a black-striped stinger hood, retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields.

The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 7.75-15 Firestone Deluxe Champion-branded tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include headrests, a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, power windows, and lap belts. The air conditioning was recharged ahead of the sale.

The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a telescopic column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 427ci L68 V8 is equipped with three Holley two-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Records for a December 1994 rebuild indicate that the block was bored .020″ over, the cylinder heads and block were surfaced, and the crankshaft was ground and polished. Components installed at that time included Ohio pistons, Sealed Power rings and lifters, Crane valve springs and keepers, Cloyes timing gears, an M77 bearing set, ARP rod bolts, and a replacement oil pump.

The engine stamping pad is said to have been decked during the aforementioned rebuild.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential with 3.70:1 gearing. The frame is said to have been refreshed in the early 1990s.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:
- Style 67 437 – 1967 Corvette coupe
- Body S4204 – St. Louis body number
- Trim STD – Black vinyl upholstery
- Paint 974 – Rally Red

Documentation accompanying the car includes a window sticker, tank sticker, dealer invoices, and a Protect-O-Plate.

The car received Bloomington Gold recognition in 1984 and NCRS Top Flight Awards in 1989, 1990, 1992, and 1998.
