33k-Mile 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Collector Edition LT4 6-Speed

This 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 1,381 Collector Edition convertibles produced to commemorate the final year of fourth-generation Corvette production. It was purchased in 2012 by the current owner, who has driven approximately 1,500 of the 33k miles. The car was ordered with over $6k in optional equipment including the Collector Edition specification, the Corvette Convertible Preferred Equipment Group #1, a 5.7-liter LT4 V8, and Selective Real Time Damping. The engine is linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The special edition and aforementioned package together provided Sebring Silver Metallic paint, a black soft top, 17″ five-spoke aluminum wheels, automatic climate control, and Black leather upholstery. This Collector Edition C4 is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, two build sheets, the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and an Oklahoma title.

All Collector Edition Corvettes were finished in Sebring Silver Metallic (13U) with chrome commemorative badges on the nose, sides, and rear. Additional exterior items are a black fabric convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, a Corvette-branded front plate cover, and quad taillights.

The silver-painted 17″ five-spoke aluminum wheels were specific to the Collector Edition and are mounted with Kumho tires. The car was optioned with Selective Real Time Damping and is further equipped with Acceleration Slip Regulation traction control. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS.

Collector Edition-specific embroidery is present on the headrests of the power-adjustable bucket seats, which are trimmed in Black leather. The Corvette Convertible Preferred Equipment Group #1 added automatic climate control, and a Delco Bose Gold Series AM/FM/CD stereo was optioned. Additional interior details include a digital clock, cruise control, and power windows and locks.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer and fuel level monitor as well as analog instrumentation consisting of a tachometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 33k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter LT4 V8 was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Chevrolet – Rocky Mountain Region of Denver, Colorado, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $51,749. Two build sheets and the owner’s manual are included in the sale.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.

The Oklahoma title carries an “Exempt” notation under the Odometer section.
