2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was delivered new to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet in Palm Coast, Florida, and it has remained registered in-state since. The seller purchased the car from the original owner in 2008 and has since added approximately 46k of the 51k indicated miles. Finished in Torch Red over Black leather, the coupe is powered by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 linked to a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, 17″ and 18″ wheels, a head-up display, and Hawk brake pads paired with Baer rotors. Work in June 2026 included replacing the valve springs, retainers, and stem seals as well as the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs. This C5 Z06 is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The C5 Z06 was only offered as a fixed-roof coupe for increased chassis stiffness and featured a quad-exit titanium exhaust system, mesh grille inserts, and weight-saving measures such as thinner glass and reduced sound deadening when compared to the standard C5. This example is finished in Torch Red and features pop-up headlights, 50th anniversary badges, rear brake vents, and an aftermarket antenna.

Silver-finished 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels were mounted with Bridgestone tires in 2016. The Z06 suspension featured a larger front stabilizer bar, increased damping, and a higher spring rate than the standard Corvette. The car is equipped with Active Handling and traction control systems as well as speed-sensitive rack-and-pinion power steering. Baer slotted and cross-drilled brake rotors are paired with Hawk Performance street-compound pads.

Black leather trims the seats, and amenities include a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, cruise control, and a Bose sound system with an in-dash CD player. The body control module was reportedly replaced in February 2023.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 51k miles, approximately 46k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 was based upon the contemporary LS1 and features a refined aluminum block, a higher-lift camshaft, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, and increased air and oil flow. Factory-rated output for the 2003 model year was 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Modifications include an SLP Blackwing air filter and a 160-degree thermostat. Records indicate that GM Performance “beehive” valve springs were installed with replacement retainers and stem seals in June 2026, at which time the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs were replaced and the oil was changed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a 3.42:1 limited-slip differential. A skip-shift eliminator and Katech remote clutch bleeder kit are installed. The torque tube was rebuilt in December 2023.

The window sticker notes initial delivery to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet in Palm Coast, Florida, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total vehicle price of $51,155.

Manufacturer’s literature, two sets of keys, recent service records, and the removed factory thermostat and antenna will also accompany the car.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
