This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback left the factory with an an S-code 390ci V8 and an automatic transmission, and a GT500E-style build was completed around 2025. A Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end were retrofitted, and power comes from a built 437ci FE stroker V8 equipped with aluminum cylinder heads, forged pistons, and a nitrous injection system. It rides on 20″ American Racing wheels, and the chassis has been upgraded with a Chris Alston’s Chassisworks coilover conversion kit, rack-and-pinion steering, and Wilwood disc brakes. An LED starlight headliner has been added to the cabin, which also houses bolstered front seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, power windows, a retro-style digital media receiver, an Alpine sound system, and Classic Instruments gauges. A 390ci V8 long block is included in the sale. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this modified Mustang fastback is now offered in Canada with build records, a Deluxe Marti report, and British Columbia registration.

The body was stripped, and Eleanor-style elements were added before the car was painted metallic gray with black over-the-top stripes. Exterior details include a bulged hood with exposed locks as well as center-mounted fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, bullet-style side mirrors, a polished fuel filler cap, a rear spoiler, and GT500 badging.

Halo front indicators were also installed along with blue accent lighting in the side scoops and wheel wells.

American Racing 20” wheels wear faux three-eared spinners. A Chris Alston’s Chassisworks adjustable coilover conversion kit and power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering rack were added, and braking is handled by Wilwood discs at all four corners

The bolstered front bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with Carroll Shelby embroidery on the upper seatbacks, and they are joined by a color-coordinated rear seat, dash pad, and door panels. The Hurst shifter is topped by a “Go Baby Go” knob, and power outlets are concealed in the center console. A retro-style digital media receiver has also been added along with aluminum pedal pads and toggle-switch controls. An LED starlight headliner is demonstrated in the video gallery below.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilt column and sits ahead of Classic Instruments Carroll Shelby Signature instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An AutoMeter clock and voltmeter are mounted in the center console. The digital odometer indicates 229 miles.

A nitrous-oxide bottle is mounted behind the rear seat, and an Alpine amplifier in the trunk is connected to dual Alpine R-series subwoofers.

The 427ci FE V8 was built by Richmond Engines of Surrey, British Columbia, using a SCAT 4.25”-stroke crankshaft and I-beam connecting rods as well as custom forged pistons, a hydraulic roller camshaft, PW aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, a Melling oil pump, and a Canton T-sump oil pan. A nitrous injection system has been added, and four-into-one headers flow into a dual exhaust system. An aluminum radiator is cooled by dual electric fans.

Dyno testing performed in October 2018 measured peak output at 507 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end.

The Deluxe Marti report lists factory equipment, colors, and production statistics along with a build date of January 17, 1967.
