This 1986 Chevrolet Camaro is an IROC-Z coupe that was purchased new by the seller’s father before it was later acquired by the seller, and it shows 21k miles. The carbureted 5.0-liter V8 has an overheating and cooling issue, which is potentially related to the head gasket, per a pressure test and diagnosis. The engine is linked with a five-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in Bright Blue Metallic over gray cloth. IROC-Z equipment consists of a body-color front spoiler and rocker panels, a louvered hood, IROC-Z graphics, and upgraded suspension components. Additional details include removable roof panels, rear window louvers, 16″ IROC alloy wheels, and cruise control. This IROC-Z coupe is now offered with a build sheet, initial purchase documents, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Bright Blue Metallic with IROC-Z graphics and black and gray lower stripes. Additional exterior features include a body-color front spoiler and rocker panels, a rear spoiler, removable roof panels, faux hood louvers, rear window louvers, fog lights, Z28-branded splash guards, and power-adjustable side mirrors.

The 16″ IROC alloy wheels are mounted with Falken tires that show date codes from 2025. The IROC-Z featured a lowered ride height, larger diameter sway bars, and revised dampers when compared to the standard Z28. Work in November 2025 included rebuilding the suspension with replacement bushings and stabilizer bar links.

The front bucket and individual rear seats are upholstered in gray cloth. Interior equipment includes an AM/FM/cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer as well as an Extended Range Sound audio system, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows and locks.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles. The gauge cluster was rebuilt in May 2026, and total mileage i

The 5.0-liter LG4 V8 was equipped from the factory with a four-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 165 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Work since November 2025, at a cost of over $11k, has included rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the drive belts, water pump, thermostat, battery, radiator hoses, engine and transmission mounts, and the timing cover, front crank seal, and oil pan gaskets. The seller tells us that there is an unresolved overheating and cooling system issue, and that a pressure test and diagnosis note a possible issue with the head gasket.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The differenital cover was resealed in 2025.

The build sheet lists initial delivery to Engstad Chevrolet of Darlington, Wisconsin, as well as factory colors and equipment. The owner’s manual, initial purchase documents, and a car cover are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
The Wisconsin title carries an “Actual” notation under the Odometer Status section.
