This 2005 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six linked with a six-speed gearbox that was converted to manual operation following the seller’s purchase on BaT in October 2023. Additional work included fitting 19″ BBS LM wheels, Öhlins Road & Track suspension, a Brembo big-brake kit, and Recaro Sportster CS front seats as well as replacing the VANOS unit, connecting-rod bearings, radiator, and more. Finished in Phoenix Yellow Metallic over black leather, the car was optioned with the Premium and Cold Weather packages and also has a limited-slip differential, a carbon-fiber CSL-style intake, aftermarket exhaust components, a ZHP steering rack, a power sunroof, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, a carbon-fiber center console, navigation, and Harman Kardon audio. This E46 M3 has 97k miles and is offered with owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean Arizona title.

The car is finished in Phoenix Yellow Metallic (445) with Shadowline trim and features xenon headlights, fog lights, black front kidney grilles, a glass sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED tail lights, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The parking sensors have been disabled, and photos provided in the gallery below show paint-meter readings and a dent above the right-side door, as well as chips and scrapes.

BBS LM 19″ wheels with Black Diamond centers were sourced under current ownership and wear 235/35 front and 275/30 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires produced in 2019. Öhlins Road & Track suspension has also been fitted, along with a Brembo big-brake kit with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The front control-arm bushings were replaced in 2024, and the rear trailing-arm bushings were replaced the following year.

Black leather-upholstered Recaro Sportster CS front seats have been installed and match the split-folding rear bench. Titan Shadow trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with a short-throw shifter, automatic climate control, a carbon-fiber CSL-style center console, cruise control, navigation, and a Harman Kardon audio system. Irregularities in the infotainment screen are shown in the gallery, there are marks in the soft-touch finish ahead of the shifter, and loose upholstery on the A and B pillars is noted by the seller.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features M-color stitching and frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 97k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The “service engine” indicator illuminates intermittently.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six has been fitted with a carbon-fiber CSL-style intake, and corresponding ECU tuning was reportedly carried out by Tuning Tech FS. Work under current ownership has included addressing oil leaks and replacing the VANOS unit and the connecting-rod bearings along with the radiator and coolant hoses.

The factory-equipped six-speed SMG transmission has been converted to manual operation and resealed in 2025, and the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential. The catalytic converters have been removed, and a Rogue Engineering electronic muffler-bypass valve and exhaust components have been fitted.

Owner’s manuals and two keys will accompany the vehicle.
The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries, while noting an open manufacturer safety recall from 2020.
