This Unique Motorcars Cobra replica is powered by a 427ci FE V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in silver over black leather, the car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes with inboard rear units. Features include a hood scoop, a polished roll hoop, a racing-style fuel filler, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, side-exit exhaust pipes, 15″ Halibrand-style wheels, and Crow Racing harnesses. The car was acquired by the seller in March 2024, after which it received interior repairs, wiring repairs, ride height and brake system adjustments, and replacement gaskets for the oil filter housing, oil pan, and valve covers. This Unique Motorcars Cobra replica is now offered in California with records and a Montana title, which is in the name of the seller’s company and lists the vehicle as a 1965 Shelby Cobra.

The fiberglass bodywork is finished in silver with black stripes. Exterior features include a driver-side roll hoop, quick-jack bumperettes, side pipes, a tonneau cover, and a Le Mans-style fuel cap. The ground terminals for the headlights were recently repaired, and the driver’s sideview mirror was replaced. Close-up photos of paint chips are provided in the gallery.

Halibrand-style 15″ wheels are mounted with replacement knock-off spinners in the front and Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires all around. Braking is handled by discs, while the suspension is fitted with a Jaguar independent rear and adjustable coilovers. Service in July 2026 included adjustments of the front ride height, brake pad preload, and parking brake cables.

The cabin features black leather low-back bucket seats that were repaired and fitted with additional cushioning during current ownership. The color-coordinated dashboard was also recovered. Additional appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a fire extinguisher mounted between the seats, and Crow Racing latch-and-link harnesses.

Stewart-Warner instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added by the seller. The switches for the ignition and headlights have been replaced.

The car is powered by a Ford FE big-block V8, and a 427ci displacement was reported during a July 2026 service by OC Cars of Lake Forest, California. Their work included a new main battery cable and carburetor linkage bushing as well as new gaskets for the oil pan, fuel-pump block-off plate, oil filter block adapter and remote mount, and valve covers.

Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch hydraulic line was also replaced during the recent service.

The car is titled with California-assigned VIN CA942084, a photo of which is shown above. An image of the Unique Motorcars identification plate, which displays the chassis number 4279371, can be viewed in the gallery below.
The current Montana title carries an “Exempt” notation under the Odometer section.
