This 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 NAS is #155 of approximately 525 North American Specification examples produced for the single model year, and it underwent a build completed in 2015 by East Coast Rover of Rockland, Maine. Work included the installation of a 2.4-liter turbodiesel inline-four, a six-speed manual transmission, an L230 dual-range transfer case, a replacement galvanized frame, 18″ Boost wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and VB air suspension in addition to LED auxiliary lights, heated Recaro front seats, a split-folding second-row bench, a storage drawer beneath the trunk floor, and a Puma-style dashboard with air conditioning and an Alpine Bluetooth head unit. The truck was refinished in Santorini Black during the build and was acquired by the current owner in 2017, after which the external roll cage and rear ladder were powder-coated black. This Puma-powered NAS 110 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records and a clean California title in the current owner’s name.

The truck features aluminum body panels that were refinished in Santorini Black following the installation of a galvanized frame during the aforementioned build, and LED headlights and taillights as well as auxiliary lights integrated into the front bumper were installed. In August 2023, the external roll cage and rear ladder were powder-coated black. The Carfax report notes the truck was declared a total loss by an insurance company following fire damage in March 2013 entries.

Black-finished 18″ Boost wheels are mounted with Cooper Zeon LTZ tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the rear door. Stopping power is provided by slotted disc brakes with AP Racing calipers at all four corners, and the truck is further equipped with power steering and a VB air suspension system.

The cabin is trimmed in black upholstery and features front heated Recaro bucket seats, a split-folding second row bench with gray cloth inserts, a Puma-style dashboard, power front windows, and an Alpine Bluetooth head unit linked to JL Audio speakers front and rear. The air conditioning was recharged in November 2023.

A pull-out storage drawer is mounted below the trunk floor.

Replacement instrumentation comprises a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 23k miles, which reportedly represents the mileage covered since completion of the build, and approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in a May 2017 entry.

A 2.4-liter turbodiesel inline-four was installed during the build, and in August 2023, the turbocharger, starter, and fan clutch were replaced, and wiring repairs were performed.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, an L230 dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. A catless exhaust downpipe and updated driveshafts were installed in August 2023, at which point the transfer case seal was replaced.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned total loss and mileage inconsistency.
The truck was incorrectly titled with a diesel designation, has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair following the engine swap, and has not been tested for emissions in California. As a result, it cannot be sold to a private in-state party.
