This 1987 Citroën 2CV6 was imported to the US from the Netherlands and underwent a refurbishment completed in 2012 following the seller’s 2005 acquisition. Work included a repaint in two-tone gray following rust remediation and the installation of a replacement frame, suspension, and black vinyl top. Powered by a 602cc twin paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, the car also features 15″ steel wheels, electronic ignition, and an electric fuel pump as well as a heater in the gray cloth cabin. This 2CV6 is now offered at no reserve with workshop manuals and a clean California title in the seller’s name that notes the model year as 1963.

During the aforementioned refurbishment, rust remediation that was reportedly performed included the addition of replacement sheet metal, replacing the right rear inner fender, and treating the underside. The body was repainted in two-tone gray and mounted to a replacement frame sourced from French Parts Service West, per the seller. The car features a replacement black vinyl top, aluminum stone guards, flip-up side windows, mudflaps, and round headlights. The seller notes the hood was repaired and the grille was repainted following an accident.

Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with Michelin X Classic tires. The car was factory equipped with front discs and rear drums. The interconnected, independent suspension features independent swingarms with longitudinally mounted spring cylinders serving the front and rear wheel on each side. The seller tells us the shocks, springs, and dampers were replaced in 2012.

The cabin features quilted gray cloth seating surfaces, a heater, and a single-spoke steering wheel. The seller states the vent cables need adjustment, the headlight adjuster is not connected, a warning light has fallen inside the dashboard, and the high beam lever is broken.

Veglia instrumentation includes a speedometer and readouts for fuel level and amperage. The five-digit odometer has rolled over at least once and shows 6k kilometers (~3k miles), approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

Power is provided by a 602cc twin that is equipped with 123ignition electronic ignition and an electric fuel pump. The carburetor was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.

The car has been incorrectly titled as a 1963 model year, using the chassis ID shown on the tag above. As a result, it cannot be sold to a California private-party buyer.
