This 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 underwent a repaint and an interior re-trim as part of a 2014 refurbishment as well as additional mechanical work from 2015 to 2016 before being listed on BaT in January 2017. Subsequent updates have involved replacement of various exterior and interior components as well as a transmission rebuild in 2018. Finished in silver over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four equipped with SPICA mechanical fuel injection and is fitted with Koni shocks, Centerline lowering springs, and 15″ GTA-look alloy wheels. Inside, black vinyl–trimmed seating is accompanied by a wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel framing Jaeger instrumentation. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission linked with an optional limited-slip differential. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this GTV is now offered in North Salem, New York, by 1600Veloce—a BaT Local Partner—with a window sticker, service records, and a clean Florida title.

Finished from the factory in silver, records indicate that the body was repaired and repainted in 1987 and was later repainted again by Autobahn of Costa Mesa, California, as part of the 2014 refurbishment at a cost of over $9k. The side marker lamps have been shaved, and the fuel-filler door is fitted with a magnetic closure. The headlamps, fog lights, quadrifoglio C-pillar badging, trunk latch, and wraparound bumpers were replaced in 2017, and the fog lights were wired to work with the high beams in 2018.

The 15″ GTA-look alloy wheels are mounted with 185/60 Pirelli P4 tires, and the car rides on Koni shocks paired with Centerline lowering springs.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a contoured rear bench that were retrimmed in black vinyl as part of the aforementioned 2014 refurbishment work. Wood-veneer trim accents the dash and center console, while black loop carpets line the floors. A previously installed stereo has been removed, and work in 2018 included servicing the heater, repairing the hand-crank window mechanisms, replacing the quarter-vent window hinges, fitting the doors with Dynamat insulation, and refinishing the seat hardware.

The wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge accompanied by a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The gauge cluster was repaired and a Jaeger clock and voltmeter were installed in the dash in 2018. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles and is believed to have rolled over.

The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four specified from the factory with SPICA mechanical fuel injection and rated at 128 horsepower. A December 1989 engine rebuild record from Import Doctors of Dublin, California, lists a 108k-mile odometer reading. Work between 2015 and 2017 is noted to have included replacing the water pump, starter, alternator, ignition module, fuel pump, and exhaust manifold. Subsequent service has involved replacing the valve cover gasket and fuel-injection microswitch in 2018, rebuilding the distributor in 2019, and changing the battery and spark plugs in 2020. Compression-test readouts are viewable in the gallery.

Factory equipment included a five-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential as well as a double-wishbone front suspension, a live rear axle setup, and four-wheel disc brakes. Work between 2015 and 2017 is noted to have involved changing the front ball joints, tie-rod ends, and bearings as well as replacing the brake booster. Subsequent work in 2018 included rebuilding the transmission and changing the engine and transmission mounts along with the driveshaft support bearing, pinion seal, and brake hoses.

The window sticker lists the factory serial and engine numbers along with the factory color scheme and notes initial delivery to Park Avenue Motors in Palo Alto, California, with a total suggested retail price of $6,295.
