2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition 6-Speed

This 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition is powered by a 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a locking rear differential. Finished in Radiant Red, the truck rides on 17″ Mickey Thompson wheels as well as Bilstein shock absorbers and is further equipped with A-TRAC traction control, an air intake snorkel, a roof rack, window rain guards, and a receiver hitch. Inside, the front bucket seats are trimmed in Dark Charcoal and red cloth and complemented by air conditioning, cruise control, a backup camera display, and an in-dash CD changer. Acquired by the seller in 2026, this Trail Teams Special Edition has 93k miles and is now offered in Pennsylvania with a Carfax report and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

All Trail Teams Special Edition examples were finished in Radiant Red for the 2012 model year. Equipment includes a roof rack, an air intake snorkel, illuminated mirror markers, window rain guards, window tint film, mud flaps, a rear window wiper, a receiver hitch, and skid plates. The windshield was replaced in January 2025. The Carfax report lists damage entries in September 2018, August 2021, June 2022, and April 2024. Photos of paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below.

Black 17″ Mickey Thompson wheels are wrapped in 285/70 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the swing-away tailgate. The truck is equipped with TRD Bilstein shocks and Active Traction Control (A-TRAC).

The front bucket seats and 60/40-split folding rear bench are upholstered in Dark Charcoal and red cloth. Appointments include a back-up camera, a six-disc CD stereo, cruise control, a Trail Teams Edition dashboard emblem, and air conditioning.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A dash-mounted auxiliary gauge pod houses a compass, digital clock, and inclinometer. The digital odometer indicates 93k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in August 2026.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. Work in preparation for the sale involved cleaning and painting the underside as well as applying Woolwax corrosion protection material.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entries.
