2002 Porsche Boxster

This 2002 Porsche Boxster was purchased on BaT in May 2024 by the seller, who reports subsequent work that included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and fitting LED exterior lighting, a Boss Audio infotainment unit, and an LN Engineering spin-on oil-filter adapter as well as replacing the water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, and more. Finished in Seal Grey Metallic over Graphite Grey leather, the car is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. It is equipped with the Sport Touring Package, a black soft top, 17″ Boxster-Design wheels, Porsche Stability Management, a deployable rear spoiler, heated seats, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This 986 Boxster has 99k miles and is offered at no reserve with parts receipts, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and features a black soft top as well as a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops. Aftermarket LED headlights, taillights, and side markers were installed in 2024, and the trunk struts have been replaced. The soft top has some wear, and there is a blemish on the driver-side rocker panel.

Silver-finished 17″ Boxster-Design wheels wear Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires that were mounted in 2021. Braking is handled by four-piston calipers fitted over vented rotors, and the car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management. The brake-light switch was replaced in 2024.

The heated seats are upholstered in Graphite Grey leather and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. A Boss Audio Elite touchscreen infotainment unit with Bluetooth and a rearview camera was installed in 2024, and additional appointments include a Bose sound system, a wind deflector, Porsche-branded floor mats, cruise control, and automatic climate control. One of the driver-side seat-adjustment handles is missing.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 99k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Work under current ownership is said to have included fitting an LN Engineering spin-on oil-filter adapter and replacing the battery, water pump, thermostat, and serpentine belt. The most recent oil change was carried out in June 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle that received a fluid change and a replacement filter in 2024.
