This 1981 Ford F-250 Custom regular cab pickup is said to have remained registered to the original owner in Iowa through the seller’s purchase in 2025. Subsequent work involved rust repairs, a repaint in Medium Spruce Glow, and the replacement of the carburetor, fuel system, ignition components, tires, springs, and shocks. Powered by a 4.9-liter inline-six that drives the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, the truck features white 16.5″ steel wheels, a cabin heater, a push-button AM radio, and Spruce vinyl upholstery. This F-250 Custom is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and an Iowa title in the seller’s name.

The truck was finished from the factory in Medium Spruce Glow (4N), and the seller tells us that it was repainted in June 2026 after rust was repaired on the lower front fenders, cab corners, and above the rear wheel openings. Exterior details include a chrome front bumper, swing-away side mirrors, and a spray-in bedliner. The windshield was reportedly replaced under current ownership.

The white-finished 16.5″ steel wheels feature hubcaps and were mounted with Firestone Transforce HT tires under current ownership. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The shocks were replaced along with the front coil springs and rear leaf springs between May and June of 2026.

The bench seat is trimmed in Spruce vinyl and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a vinyl floor liner, a push-button AM radio, a cabin heater, and manual-crank windows. A tear on the right side of the floor liner was repaired and the window felts and seals were replaced between May and June of 2026. There are tears on the left side of the seat bottom, and the left A-pillar trim is cracked.

The two-spoke tilting steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and instruments for fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage. The coolant temperature gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter inline-six was factory rated at 120 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that fluid services were performed and that the carburetor, valve cover gasket, ignition coil, spark plugs, and ignition wires were replaced along with the fuel tank, sending unit, pump, filter, and rubber lines between May and June of 2026.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The seller says that a lanolin coating has been applied to the undercarriage.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and indicates that a “Not Actual Mileage Title” was issued for this vehicle in error and later corrected.
